Home-Sweet-Home Pet Care Services

What I Offer

Dog Training

Obedience & Leash Training

My Dog Training Service allows you to make sure your pet is professionally leash trained. I offer this for all sizebs and breeds.
The first program is weekly training with the parent(s). You come to the training center with your pup, and we all work together.  I teach you to do what I do.  You become the trainer with my lead. Pricing listed under SHOP page.
The second training program is listed under the SHOP page under PAWs Boot Camp. This is a week long program focusing on manners, obedience, training, grooming, behavior fixes, and if you use a remote collar, I ask you to bring it, and I'll work with it to get the results you are expecting the right way...bell for recall, vibrate for NO! Shock should only be used if they are going to hurt themselves or others. At the end of the week, you will join your pup for an adult training session to learn how to continue training on your own!! I do offer 2 after course training classes free, to affirm the training is being done right!

My goal is to keep family dogs in the home by replacing bad behavior with positive changes. Training takes time. Let Home-Sweet-Home Pet Care help you raise up that puppy, train that 1 to 2 year old, care for your dog when you're gone, and groom and clip toenails when needed. Those that know Liana Sears know that your pet is in the best possible hands!

In-Home Pet Care

When kenneling isn't an option . . .

Don’t feel guilty about leaving your pet alone. Our In-Home Pet Care Service gives your pet maximum care, even when you can’t be there. With up to 4 visits a day, you can be sure that they are getting out, moving around, eating right and sleeping in their own bed!! This is one of my most popular services and fills up fast. We are with them last thing at night and first thing in the morning! Get in touch to book a get-a-way today!

Dog Grooming

Professional & Gentle

Our Dog Grooming Service allows you to make sure your pet is squeaky clean and styled to your preference. We offer this for all sizes and breeds. Reserve your time and relax knowing your pet is in the best possible hands. Our prices are based on Dog's weight--not time invested, thus making the grooming aspect of dog care more affordable.

Boarding

Putting Your Pet First

Regardless of your pet’s breed, age or behavior, each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs — no matter how unique. Our boarding service is one of our specialties and is often booked well in advance. We have three kennel buildings for dogs. There are 30 kennels with runs in three buildings. By not having all dogs in one building, we offer a quieter experience, evening lighting, air conditioning and heat, and most kennels have outdoor runs. There are doggie pastures for running at the end of their dog run and can be accessed from their run when opened.

PAWs Boot Camp

Keeping 1-2 year olds out of shelters

PAWs Boot Camp addresses obedience techniques focusing on respect and praise from the pup to the handler, no matter who that is.
Normal changes will be that they learn to be patient and Stay. Their walk-ability will be deeply improved,  and they will now know not to cross in front of you! Their impatience will be dealt with learning coping skills--such as lick pads, and play time with Doggie DayCare classes or romping out back in the backyard and making all the dogs jealous, until it's their turn! 😉 All-in-all, you will have a better dog that listens. You get two after classes free to work on pop-up problems after PAWs Boot Camp! If you're on the fence,  I can tell you--you will not regret the positive change in your household❣️

Doggie DayCare

When they just can't stay alone

Doggie DayCare is the perfect transition from puppy hood to being able to stay home alone unattended... for those destructive months where they need more focus and fun training, learning to occupy their time with other pups!
They play puzzle games, and learn to play together, enjoy treats and nap time, and are read to with dog books by Amy Vanderlinden, our Doggie DayCare Director for Home-Sweet-Home Pet Care!
Amy brings 15 years of experience to the program, from working with big corporations to small businesses! We are very excited about the success of this program!

Pet Sitting

Putting Your Pet First

Regardless of your pet’s breed, age or behavior, each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs — no matter how unique. My Pet Sitting service is one of my specialties and is often booked well in advance.

She doesn't bark much and stops, usually when we say sit or no. She listens to me real well outside.  Stops and sits when I stop or twitch the leash. She doesn't charge bikes, cars, or people any more.  We start out close and I let leash out slowly. She walks ahead and doesn't pull much. If she does start pulling a twich on the leash usually slows her down. She sits at street crossings or when we get to a bridge.  Periodically I pull her back to my side and she walks at my side until I let her roam a little.  She has caught on that there are deer out here and finds them regularly before me. Inside she is good, unless she gets excited. She  settles quicker though, and then walks herself to the travel crate and goes in without direction.  15 minutes of cool down and out she comes and is calm again.  Right now we are having breakfast and she is snoozing on her mat in the corner of the room. Much more patient and not as demanding of attention.  When I release her to say hello to people she still stands on her hind legs but doesn't bite anymore. And if I tell her to sit she gets back down.  People on the path know not to say "hi Penny" until I release her.  Way different than before. She stays well but is still a puppy and looses focus sometimes but if I say no, sit, stay, she does pretty well. She likes to ride in the second row of seats in my SUV and goes with me on errands.  Cold weather only, never on hot days.  I am going to try to take her in to the pet store.  Not sure how that's going to go but I am optimistic.  All in all a real pleasure to have around now!!!

Chips first night and day….. he’s A NEW DOG! We haven’t had any barking very minimal jumping and he’s corrected so quickly! He’s just chill! He’s a joy to be around instead of adding chaos to our day. We should have done this so much sooner! The first 2 years of his life were probably miserable for him.Thank you! We will keep you updated
